On 3 March 2021, the Chancellor will give his much-awaited budget, including setting out his plans to deal with the deficit which has increased significantly over the last year, for reasons that won't need explaining! Whilst some radical proposals have been suggested around wealth taxes, changes to capital gains tax and the taxation of dividends, recent rumours suggest that major changes may not be brought in at this stage as the government will be nervous about destabilizing the economy at this point.
