We have gained 2 new clients in the last couple of weeks, both of whom had been dissatisfied with previous accountants and the service that they had been receiving. At Wyche Accountants, we pride ourselves in offering a first class service to our clients, which means (amongst other things):
Replying to emails promptly;
Sorting out queries or issues there and then, rather than waiting until 8 months after the year end when accounts deadlines are looming and the last thing that clients want to think about is some forgotten about transaction from 18 months ago;
Being approachable and flexible in our support;
Getting work done and complete as soon as possible;
Being accurate and thorough in our work, whatever the service.
We want our clients to come to us for advice and support at any time, when they need it. Maybe they only want a service once a year, and that's fine, but we can make more of a difference to their business if we are regularly involved.
We don't pester clients with constant emails offering additional services (although if we identify an area where things can improve we will say so) but we are always here to help when they need us.
Sometimes a client isn't sure if a particular commercial decision will have tax implications, so come and ask us! It's better to be safe than sorry. We may advise a more tax efficient way of structuring a transaction, or even advise against it completely. Or if we don't identify any issues, we will say so. At least you then have peace of mind.
