Save your SEISS grants!

We noticed this article today.

HMRC wrote to a number of self-employed traders on 26 February 2021, asking them to prove that they are still trading, before they can claim the next two SEISS grants.

HMRC have also threatened to open an enquiry into the taxpayer's tax affairs if they have not responded by Monday 22nd March.

We advise all traders to check emails from around this date to make sure they haven't received an email from HMRC that they haven't replied to. However please also take care that you are not responding to a scam email as there are many of these that claim to be from HMRC.
